I riveted the lower angle and secured all but one of the -7 bolts. It turns out I am short one bolt. I’ll have to order a few more. I also fastened the end wing attach assembly to the inboard end of the spar. I left one of the AN4 bolts out of the block to allow bucking of the nearby rivet.
Making Web Spacer and Centre Spacer
I used a bunch of scrap .125 aluminum to make twenty centre spacers (SNX-W14-02). This was a bit time consuming but time is free and I had the scrap. After making up the centre spacers I clecoed the right main spar together.
Alodineing and Painting Wing Spars
Today I alodine coated all of the small parts for the right main spar and then painted all of the parts with zinc chromate primer. (Canadian Tire Spray Cans) Now I need to wait a few days for the paint to harden well and I can start riveting the right main spar.
Preparing Right Spar For Riveting
Tonight I reset all of the dimples in the right main spar web and cleaned up the web using scotchbrite.
Riveting Wing Spars
Today I finished all of the rivets in the Left Main Spar except for the ones required for the tip web.

Riveting Left Main Spar
Riveting the Wing Spars
I started today by working on re-dimpling the top edge of the W10-02 web doubler. I found that the original dimples did not fit well into the spar cap so I used a rivet to reset the dimple before final riveting to ensure a good fit. After reseting the dimples I continued with the flush rivets. I made up a new bolt for setting the rivets using a 3/8" bolt for the rivets between the top angle and the spar cap.
