Yesterday I trimmed the sides of the windshield. They are pretty close but the final fit depends on my front to back positioning and I am trying to leave a little adjustment for later. Today I started by trimming the front edge to allow the clecos to be inserted in the firewall to windshield Al strip. After marking the 1 inch reveal I worked at the rear end to measure and fit the bow strap.
Windshield Fitting
I started today by trimming the edge of the windscreen facing the cockpit. I used the bandsaw and the filled and sanded the resulting edge to match the precut groove.

Drill Pilot Holes for Windshield in Fuselage Sides
I laid out the holes on the left side of the fuselage and drilled the pilot holes today.
Fitting Windshield
Today I started to trim the windshield. After fitting the pre-trimmed blank I trimmed 1/4 inch from each side of the forward edge and tapered it to nothing at the rear. Next trimmed 1/8" from each side for the full width. The trimming was done on my bandsaw using the same blade that I use for cutting aluminum. After each cut I block sanded the edge using 80 grit sandpaper.
