More closing angles to 86.1 degress. These pieces were considerably tougher due to the long length of the parts. Once closed they were rough cut and finishes.

More work on the hook angle today. I also decided not to cut the slots until I was ready to install the angle so that they could be moved/changed if necessary. I finished the part and left it until installation.

I started cutting up the 1.5 x 1.5 x 1/8 angle today. It looks like I will be one piece short but I have some scrap 2 x 2 x 1/8 that should be big enough so if I don’t need to re-make any parts I will have enough.

I started work on the hook angle today. One think that I did different from the plans was to leave the slot created by the hook smaller than dimensioned. I had hear that this slot may need adjustment depending on the exact stack up of the longeron and other components when installed. I left the opening smaller so that I could custom fit the part at installation

Made the attach angle as well today.

I started today by finishing the upper cross tie.
