Today I continued up drilling to both #21 and 3/16". It seems to be taking me a long time. I’m sure if I just drilled by hand it would go quicker but I like the idea of using the drill press to get nice square holes. The holes are actually round it’s just that they are at 90 degrees to the surface I am drilling through.

Tonight I’m working on up drilling the wing spars to #21.

I started by marking all of the holes that need to be counter sunk in the 1/8 web. Next I setup the microstop in the drill press and proceeded to drill the counter sinks. I started drilling fairly slowly but I discovered that it was better to drill quick.
